DVAM was created to connect advocates, individuals and communities across the nation who are working to end violence. What is Domestic Violence? Domestic violence, also known as Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) is a pattern of coercive behaviors in any relationship that is used to gain or maintain power and control over an intimate partner.
