Building Futures is proud to provide services at this new site for homeless adults. The Lewelling Shelter and Drop-In Center is made up of 29 shelter rooms and a drop-in center where individuals can access showers, laundry, meals, and housing navigation and support services.
Shelter / Interim Housing
- Opened March 31, 2025
- Temporary stable housing that helps individuals transition from homelessness to permanent housing
- 29-room shelter for homeless individuals and couples.
- Referrals: Those seeking shelter and housing assistance may receive referrals by calling 211, through Alameda County Coordinated Entry.
Drop-In Center
- Opened June 2025
- Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm
- Laundry, showers, lunch, coffee, and snacks
- Case management
