Jazz It Up 2026
WE DID IT! We raised over $140,000!
Thank you to ALL who made this Jazz it Up event amazing! What an incredible evening! This year’s Jazz It Up! brought together an inspiring community of supporters for a night filled with live music, meaningful connection, celebration, and inspiration. The energy in the room was unforgettable, and we are so grateful to everyone who joined us.
A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors, community partners, volunteers, and guests whose support made the evening possible. Your presence and generosity help ensure that individuals and families in our community have access to safety, housing, and hope.
One of the evening’s most powerful moments was hearing directly from Building Futures’ leadership and program staff, who shared heartfelt stories and insight from their work on the frontlines.
Their words brought into the room the realities faced by our program participants, while also inspiring hope, compassion, and a shared commitment to creating lasting change together. Thank you Sabrina Thomas, Jennifer Co and Cecilia Flores!
Guests also enjoyed outstanding live jazz performances that kept the celebration vibrant all night long. From the music to the conversations shared around the room, the evening reflected the strength and compassion of this community.
Most importantly—together, we made a real impact.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised critical funds to help Building Futures continue serving families and individuals every day and throughout Alameda County.
Thanks to our community’s generosity, we met our matching gift goal, raising over $20,000 in total! An anonymous donor matched dollar for dollar the first $10,000 raised, effectively doubling our impact. Our raffle was also a smashing success, and we raised more than we ever had before, helping us amplify support even further.
Funds raised are already being put to work, helping individuals and families build new lives after experiencing homelessness and domestic violence.
SPECIAL THANKS: We extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible Event Planning Committee, including dedicated volunteer board members, for their countless hours of planning, coordination, and expertise: Kim Ish, Tyng Liu, Marianne Teleki, and Mina Zivkovic.
Thank you for being part of this special evening and for standing with Building Futures. We look forward to continuing this work together.
